The Blitzkrieg galaxy is a fast-paced game of capture-and-hold. Every 20 minutes a new game begins with randomly selected teams. These teams then compete to win the shortened game scenario. The team with the most total experience at the end of the 20 minutes wins. Credits are automatically given to players every second. In this way, players can gain access to some of the better ships and weapons in the shortened game session while having time to concentrate on combat and strategy. Experience is earned when your team is in possession of a colony, or when you shoot down an opposing ship.

Character attributes (Charisma, Dexterity, and Wisdom) have different effects in Blitzkrieg. Charisma increases the amount of credits your character earns per second. Dexterity does the same thing it does in all Starport galaxies (faster energy generation and better ship handling). Wisdom increases the amount of experience your
So yeah, the main goal of this game is to capture and hold the colonies, which begin under UN control. There are no solar cannons and usually the defenses and dome placements are mediocre so you'll probably have to bring turrets from Sol. During the game the galaxy is constructed of 5 systems in a diamond formation unless there's a large number of players (> 20) and then there would be 10 systems, 2 sets of 5 on either side of Sol. There are 3 colonies that belong to the UN, all in the farthest system. The system in the middle of the diamond contains a port where you can buy shields and hide from other players.
