Happy St. Patricks Day! :D :D :D

The one day where everyone else can be Irish too!
Hope you all have as much fun drinking and celebrating as I will!

The Irish holiday that is celebrated 100% more in other countries than it actually is in Ireland! Normal day at work for me :(

The US seems to go particularly nuts for it, dyeing the river green in Chicago!

Meh, its not that big a deal to us, it seems to be more important for those with Irish ancestory in other countries.

And as far as I know the English don't make a big deal about st george either!

I actually live about 15 miles from where the big guy is buried, in a town called Downpatrick!

Well in Ireland its just a day to celebrate the man who brought catholicism to Ireland. But in America its a day for celebrating Irish heritage and per the stereotype is thus a day for dressing in green and getting drunk.

And now you all know why we go so crazy over st. patty's day in America. Especially in the north east where everyone is Irish.

Don't know about Chicago Moley but Boston does make the river green, along with the beer and your urine the next day LOL. I'm nursing my hangover ATM .
Being half French and half Irish , it seems that I drink cause I'm Irish and don't stop , cause I'm French .
