Completely depends.

It'd come down to all 3, it'd actually be a neck to neck race.

The underdog would be ps3. Sorry guys, but the better graphics combo'd with a dull game selection isn't for me.

It'd be very close to wii and 360.

If you like adventure games, and obviously games you'd like to enjoy with the family, Wii is top dog.

While at the same time, there's several more competitive games for the 360, most of which being First Person shooters.

Pricing is also to bare in mind, while some people don't care how much they spend, a lot of people lol'd at ps3's release price.

Although, because I said that, don't count the ps3 out. For this reason.

The biggest edge ps3 has over 360 is free, good online play. The Wii's online play sucks, but it's free. But it still sucks. 360 charging us for internet access is ridiculous. We already paid a monthly bill for our internet. It's bull we have to cough up some extra cash just to go online our 360. BUT. Another turning point. 360's online play is superior. I have better frames per second on 360 than compared to ps3.

I honestly couldn't vote. For me, it's very neck to neck.. Very tough to choose. Each system has something to offer you.

The reason that the PS3 was the price it was is because it had a technology that was idiotically expensive to begin with. However, the price was completely worth it if you actually looked at it's capability as a blue-ray player in the equation. A normal blue-ray player (cheap) was about 3/4 of the price of the PS3 with less capabilities.

PS3.

For many reasons:

In time, the PS3 will come good, it is more powerful, more memory, statistically better graphics and has dozens more features than the 360, the only problem is it will take time for these things to come into play, because in the long run 360 will age faster.

PS3 has blue ray, that means that people who want a console/movie player will go for PS3, maybe not now, because DVD still dominates. But soon as Blue Ray grows, so to will PS3.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, FF13-Versus, Heavy Rain are just a few games that are exclusive to Ps3 that kick donkey. MAG (250 online player war game) was to large for 1 CD on 360, so it'd have to be put on 2, but that means the price for it on 360 would be £70-£90 (150$) so it wasn't put on 360, same story for Metal Gear solid. The CD is far weaker than Blue ray disks, blue ray can hold 60GB (3 times that of the memory on a 360 console), CD can hold... 3? So as time goes by and games get bigger, 360 will be left out.

This is between Ps3-360, I didn't include WII because I dont think its comparable. I think every house-hold will have a PS3-WII or 360-WII combination, because its 2 different types of gaming. So in actual fact, WII is going to win... but WII will die out far quicker, so... meh.

PS3 is clearly the best. Ask anyone who has 360 and PS3 and they'll tell you as much.

Bluray and free PSN is sweet. The controller is way better.

I have owned all the above systems so can give an informed opinion.

XBOX 360 - HATED IT!! Only kept it for a month or so and then sold it and bought a...

Wii - Admittedly I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy having owned all their previous systems at some point, wiimote was a big gamble but paid of handsomely for them, they are also responsible for some of the greatest game series ever made and they keep managing to improve them, Mario Galaxy was one of the best games ever as was the latest Zelda.

PS3 - As a rule I dislike Sony but wanted a blu-ray player so a ps3 seemed the logical choice, gotta say I am loving my PS3 so far, MGS4, Uncharted, Assassians Creed 2 have blown me away with graphics and game play. Console for £50 more than a Bluray I wanted anyway = WIN!

In Summary,

PS3>Wii>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>XBOX

i bought Xbox360 JUST for the Halo 3 and have bought all the other first person shooter games, it is worth the 70 or so $ as year

i hated that lil jackass. you cant headshot him and he could almost always get the gut shots off on you before you could react. friends that used him got 45% strength punches to the crotch if they used him in our tournys, or if they were wussies, forced to use dr.bighat the next round if they won with oddjob.
