Food with cooked carrots in it.

Anyone else?

Thoughts?

EDIT: To clarify, I'm referring to cooked carrots that come with food.

yum carrot cake.... and i like carrots dipped in ranch dressing, and depending on the cook, yea usually cooked carrots in food is sorta nasty, but it can be good

What's wrong with cooked carrots? Roasted carrots are good... carrots cooked with brown sugar on them are good........ you're all nutz.

i'm a chef so i'd know.

properly blanched carrots with a honey glaze on them is very nice.

turned carrots, boiled untill just soft with boiled and turned potatoes, then lighty saute'd with honey and oil untill the potatoes are golden brown and the carrots are shiny.

serve with pan fried crumbed chicken breast, a bit of lettuce and chopped parsley as garnish with a tiny bit of lime zest sprinkled over the top of it all and enjoy.

who would have guess that a thread titled i hate would lead to omlow dictating carrot recipes

omlow that sounds good... but who would zest a lime just for carrots to taste better? and thats.... a tad over done considering the focus of the meal is... carrots, hell you made the chicken a side dish for carrots and taters! nice XD

But can you clarify the carrots thing a little bit more?

For example, if I were to cook food, and then put raw carrots in it, would it be okay?

Or, perhaps, if I cook the carrots and put them in raw food, would they be okay then?

What if they're cooked carrots in cooked salad, would they taste good?

And what if the carrots are raw, and the food cooks them because it's hot. Would the carrots getting cooked nullify their rawness and, thereby, make them "icky" to your taste buds?

Please provide me a further clarification on the subject as I'm nosy and very deeply interested in the very details of your life.

I believe somone needs to yell VOMIT really loud and then piss on a coffee table... after hearing the word VOMIT carrots seem disgusting. Only thing that sounds good is cream of mushroom soup with a really good bread to go with it.
