Home Port:
Basically, you are allowed to buy exclusive rights (30 mil?) to a SINGLE port of your choosing for personal or corporate use. This port automatically supplies all resources, with a set regen rate of say 150/hr with a store of 10k of each resource type. Shields are sold at a rising rate 1/4 the rate of normal price rise. But most importantly, it acts as a Personal Hangar, that is, you can store ships in it (max of 1/type, once you sell your ship in it you are sent off in a pod, ships must be stocked manually), store a max of 50 mods/weapons or any types(must be barged in and sold there personally), and hold a WF-size complement of weapons (again, must be manually deposited). Artifacts and can also be deposited there. Access to your hangar would be determined by a few buttons, public, corporate, and personal.
HQ:
You choose a SINGLE colony of yours to house an Headquarters. To do so you must build a new building at a high cost (think 10 mil cash). This headquarters would be an across the board boost to your colony. Think a multiplier of 1.5 (or less) to taxation, growth of morale and population, military strength, cleaning, building, and harvesting slider-power. After paying for the rush cost of a headquarters, it takes a full day (or 2-5 perhaps) until it is "completed" and the effects are applied, so that way it cannot be used as a last-ditch defense. After it is captured, it takes a a few days before the previous owner can buy another, and if the invader already owns a headquarters, it is dismantled. The process of dismantling takes 4 days, and until then the previous owner cannot start the build process of another, and the boosting effects of the captured HQ stay in place. One can change their mind about a headquarters' location by "selling" it, but to do so must also run through the dismantling process.
