[IDEA] replant dome without killing colony

Having the option to replant a biodome without killing the planet. we should have the option in the admirals club for maybe 600 tokens for one redome credit.

A new button could be added to the inside of the biodome that says Re-Dome in the top right corner of the screen. (only shown if you have at least 1 credit)

When you hit the button it will ask Are You Sure? If you hit Yes the dome goes to a free hardware bay and your ship is ejected to the planet surface. (continued)

(continued) you can plant the dome anywhere in a possible position

while this is taking place nobody is allowed to land. friendly or enemy. to prevent that from being exploited, you have a maximum time of 2 min to replant the dome. if the dome hasnt been set down before that time is up, it returns to its origonal spot and you keep your redome credit. if your time runs out you cant pick up the dome for the next hour.

only the real owner is allowed to do this. CEO's have no control

I'm all for it

Although I imagine uprooting a colony that is drilled thousands of feet into the ground would be kind of a hard thing to do, plus im sure people would look for a glitch to get a cheaper DD.

good idea bit pricy mind also domeplacement cant be changed untill 4 hours have pass afte invade.

only two ways i can think of getting a cheaper DD is to have a dome on you when you replant, or have a guy on the colony with a dome when you replant. so, you cant pickup the dome if you already have one, and people in the dome or on the surface are booted into space.

Well, the eventual plan is to allow this to be done by double domes basically. So you can just plant a new dome where you want it to be, move the colonists over, and let the original dome become abandoned and fade away. Researches would be the same since they are per planet not per colony.

Agreed, I am interested as well. Additionally, could you double dome on, say, a paradise world, or just planets you've settled?
