You know how sometimes, there's a HUGE amount of hops from the nearest port? Well, I was thinking maybe have a command that makes a planet like a Port, ANYONE can land, buy and sell things at Port prices (but you choose what you buy/sell). The money would come from the stash on the colony. The col that you turned into a "Port" would get an extra 10mil max to the stash. If you change the Col back into a regular col, any extra money would flow over and would be Lost.

Check the guidelines before posting please. As to your ideas, the hireable NPCs in 2 & 3 would be nice, but Toonces put the Contractor system in so we'd use other people for those kinds of things. Planet Ports... Something doesn't feel very workable about that, but for some danm reason I can't pin the feeling down into words.

.... read the posts, I said Max would be 1, but this thread is pretty much gonemilo wrote:hmm wheni first started the game this is how i imagined colonies opperated. then i got one and knew otherwise. it would be interesting and would practically replace ports. oceans and earthlikes would skyrocket in value.
