***Resource Supply/Demand and Who's Online Missing**
The new patch only made it worse.
Now, random items are missing all over, instead of the old numerical values.

using the arrow keys to key up/down the list you may be able to get the lists to show up. Also, mousing around and clicking randomly in the item/player lists seems to make them (dis)appear randomly.
In the galaxy map, you can still see what a port buys/sells. Once in the port, the name and price of the current item still shows up in the right hand haggle window.
Looks like the problem is somewhere in the mouse-over, selection, or ui update code sections.

Kev

This is Seriously Rediculas
Kind of makes you wonder who is programming this game. You cant see anything in most screens and when you try to scroll it dissappears. If we start losing colonies then i think there should be a roll back for this patch. I think after the last major patch problem this has to be the worst.

and what if you do have alot of completed research?hydr wrote:yup gotta select a corner of it, if you dont have a lot of research slots
arrows and corners do no good.
I sure wish there was a changelog somewhere so we could see what was fixed by each patch, then maybe stuff like this would not be so bothersome.
It is always easier to take setbacks if you know why they happen. As long as the blackbox approach to patching continues, there will be lots of discontent.
Scroll down your taxes until the tax you want is over the unclickable "Researching" label, you can then click the tax without getting bounced to Starpedia. This works fine unless you want 19 or 20% tax.mea wrote:and what if you do have alot of completed research?hydr wrote:yup gotta select a corner of it, if you dont have a lot of research slots

Patch 447 made it better, but it's not exactly fixed. I'm still seeing variable fields (aka read from db?) being blank. I see it mostly in the port markets where the percentages and prices are blank in both the left and right hand sides of the market window. If I close/open the dialog window several times, they seem to come back after a few iterations.
The who's online and ranks look to be better, I didn't see them being blank at any time last night.
My solar windows and colony flag drop downs seemed fine too.
I did see the problem with the colony construction window too. The field above the drop down showed what was selected ok, but the drop down was blank. I was able to arrow to what I needed.
I haven't looked at any of the other places mentioned, and so I'm not sure if 447 helped those or not.
