Whats are your favorite planet types for pvp? With exception of paradise worlds.
I like volcanic because of lava mill.

I could not decide wether to put this here or in tavern. So here it is.

earth's got the lowest pollution rate with everything maxed I think...at 1.19% a day only. Least maintenance :D
Funny how it's supposed to be the easiest planet to pollute...

High sice output and you forgot it, sure theyre slightly rare but there not as hard to find as paradise planets.

IGP
pollution - Average
harvest $ - Very good
population - Good
main plus - Prestige, good all-around planet
main minus - Everyone wants to invade

Earth
pollution - Good
harvest $ - Average
population - Very good
main plus - High population rate, low pollution
main minus - High pollution until special is done (not a big deal)

Desert
pollution - Poor
harvest $ - Very good
population - Poor
main plus - Harvests all with lots of spice
main minus - None

Ocean
pollution - Poor
harvest $ - Average
population - Good
main plus - Very easy build, faster discoveries
main minus - None

Arctic
pollution - Poor
harvest $ - Poor
population - Average
main plus - More experience
main minus - Needs 2 resources (not a big deal)

Rocky
pollution - Average
harvest $ - Poor
population - Poor
main plus - Higher taxes, faster to Unity
main minus - Harvests few resources - needs 4

Mountain
pollution - Poor
harvest $ - Good
population Poor
main plus - Easy build once the special is done, makes all resources
main minus - Needs small amount of 5 resources, 50k resource cap is an issue

Volcanic
pollution - Average
harvest $ - Average
population - Very poor
main plus - Military production
main minus - Needs tons of meds (which it doesn't harvest), plus 2 other resources

Grnhs
pollution - Good
harvest - Poor
population $ - Poor
main plus - um... not much...
main minus - Kinda lame, needs 3 resources

Since the recent changes, Earth has moved up in the list, mountains and especially volcanics have moved down.

You recently checked the pollution rate of the Greenhouses? It's seriously reduced. And besides, it are good outposts in enemy territory.

Yes, greenhouses are 1.55%/day when fully maxed out. The only one better is an Earth. This is a plus because it can produce excess tax revenue to clean other planets... but this is the only positive for the planet.

I've not tried it, but I would think this trick would only work in rebang servers and in the early days of the perm universes. I just don't see the greenhouse special as being very useful / powerful. Its a good candidate for an update.

IGPs dont have any pollution unless something has been changed very recently.

i have seen igps explode (from a corprate colony) it says that there was a teraformer breakdown or something like that.

I usually own one or more igps on rebangs....One of my favorite things about them is the 0% pollution.

with the new pollution rules, cash is king - a maxed out DESERT can turn out 2.5 - 3 million per day excess cash. Gets my vote!

No one gives mountains enough credit. A desert brings in how much spice a hour 600? A mountain brings in 900uranium, 500ore and 200anerobes. Going from my rough estimations a mountain makes 100more spice an hour assuming you convert it all. Not counting the 550uranium that is left over. If there are no ports near by the first colony i build is always on a mountian.
