Help for new users

I have noticed that the bottom F10 that brings up the mini galaxy map when in a system does nothing inside of a colony. I was thinking that if you press F10 it should bring up a mini map that shows the whole planet. This would help invaders like me to find the colony and save us time because we wont have to take out every piece of defense to find the colony. (I made a mistake this belongs in the engineering forum)

i say no bec if there's an npc or a player out side w8ing 2 attack us we can plote cource out of the system b4 we leave the dome makeing 4 a fast get away
(even tho i like 2 stand and fight but if there's more then 1 eat space dust)

Ummm, I'm an invader myself, but not seeing planet layouts is not a problem for me...Mainly because I know all the planet maps
. So I don't know why Toonces should make invading any easier than it is now. If we start invading from outer space, why can't we land next to the biodome then? Why can't we just drop a nuke on the colony itself? Nope, bad idea.

Wait, i thought you meant display your own colony(for lazy asses like me)
but displaying OPPOSING peoples colony just makes invading so easy to plan out, with doing no work, or, hardly any, whatsoever, so take my vote back, hell no its dumb.

I like this idea, Also it really should be moved to the right section.
I get frustrated myself trying to locate colonies on planets.
another advantage to this would be in allowing the owner of a colony to inspect their defences from the dome without flying in range to see if they've been disturbed.
