putting domes on other peoples planets

if you get 4.5k tokens and buy a DD, you can put that on an enemy planet now, the dome you dropped is friendly to you, you have access to all the planets (enemy) nukes/resources/money, their defences shoot you, and the solar in your dome shoots the enemy.

what do people think of this?

Sorry I don't really like this idea. Those with deep pockets or people holding onto deleted perm tokens would be able to be real asshats. I wouldn't want to see my hard work wasted this way. Invade it the old fashioned way solo or with help. At least you get the satisfaction of your enemy possibly dying a few times before they cap your planet.

it can and has been done. a friend of mine on p1 had a colony wasted because an enemy put a dome on his planet in a terrible location.

what a god awful change if it was indeed implemented. might as well cut to the chase and remove planet ownership completely

how does it work? does your solar fight the other solar and lasers? sounds like another patch gone wrong... time to get me some domes >:D
