seems there was a change in last patch that fixed this. direct still pwn, but not every shot is direct like it was. glancing blows, as toonces called them can do as little as 10 damage.

tested on GA

a little bro? more like ridiculous some colonies are impossible, i think that you should turn it down and change the game to the way it used to be when p3 banged lol, but w/e
ima try playing for about a month or so and we'll see what happens. I strongly recommend turning the solar blasts damage down, and all the blasts should be exactly the same no matter how big the spread of the solar is.

So with this way, invading can be harder, and still offer variety in number of solar shots (instead of them all being 1o shot).

As we all know this game strives to remain retardly unbalanced so it's either you have an incredibly weak solar, or incredibly strong, take your pick punks. THERE IS NO INBETWEEN!! AHAHAHAH

Keep solar power, but weaken it over time/distance from point of firing to the point of impact. Or limit the shots depending on population.
