Relevant Question #3 - If you could change one thing
if you could change any one thing of starport, or add something, wshat would you do?
same opinion here, I however voted for more ships etc. It gets boring to fight ISC vs ISC or ISC vs Seth, either you nuke the hell out of your opponent or you go for the old ranged tactics with photons.Sneak wrote:i voted more game types because i think adding more aims would be cool but if i could choose two i would defo choose more ships etc.. would be good to have lots of dif isc / seth type ships so that everyone is not using hte same kinda ship in perma games
I'd like to see more planet/ship custimization, to make it even more of an rpg. Having a set of buildings that you can only build one of would help make planets more unique, and having a large variety of ships and weapons can ensure that every player you see wont have the ISC+Gravs combo that gets soooo old.
Predictable as in: "Oh no, not again. More ships/variety and choice would be nice especially considering it would be the simplest thing/concept to do and would be highly entertaining. Of course they'd have to 'measures' it could take and another ship with the counter-measures to the first one but it would overall be kinda fun to try out new ships designed for permas with not that much variety [IGS,ISC,Seth].
last option yeah, but i think their also should be more missions...
like now we have taxi and escort missions, so why not 'eliminating' missions or so... you get the loc of an npc and you go kill it. thje difficulty of the npc or npc armada varies, depending on your exp, so the higher your exp, the harder the npc's, or the more npc"'s you'll find

Post this -idea- in engineering , would be nice to comment on there. LOL! yea thats kinda what i ment but you only ever see ppl in seths (not as much) or the more common ISC. i think new ships would make the game more exiting, but also the new ships should be all at the same level 'cause as melkor said, there is always 1 ship that is the best ship and everyone has it, so if u make new ships make all "the best ships" but 1 for each kind of job, for example: an isc that is better for combat, a isc that is better for colonizing, an isc for exploring with low warp fuel cost.
note: when i say isc i mean like "the best ship for"

More people would make the game more interesting and fun... but i think we can all work on that by telling our friends and advertising the game on our websites and such.
