i think its time to vote for a new prez for 11th as i beleave the current one wasnt voted for it was handed to him so i think that dont count

well firstly mac10 is inactive so why would you want to vote for an inactive prez...secondly i vote for mk

I'd say that most of the people who've posted in this topic don't play 11th, thank you very much. And I think that any alleged 'getting post count up' isn't as bad as attempting to glorify oneself with a meaningless title on a meaningless server

You misunderstood my intention. It is quite correct that she does not play the new 11th. But if you had her in a poll against you and Mac10, she would win because she's GRAWRG and a lot of people know her. I was exemplifying why making a President election thread on the forums would be utterly pointless because the people on the forums will always just vote for the most popular person you put into the poll, even if they don't even play that server. hell, replace yourself and Mac10 with Toonces and Gary. that'd make for a closer race.

If you really wanted to have a fair and meaningful election...

Option 1 - In game way

Step 1: Find a person chose/agreed upon by all the candidates to be the impartial vote-collector.

Step 2: Have everyone on the server send their vote to the impartial collector by mail.

Step 3: Have the impartial collector Take screenshots of his inbox, then individual screenshots of each mail. Have him post these on a site such as photobucket.

Option 2 - Forum way

Step 1: Have an impartial person chosen by all the candidates.

Step 2: Have the people who play on the server go on the forums and mail their vote into the impartial person.

Step 3: Impartial person makes a thread, and copy and pastes down all the votes he has received. Now everyone who voted confirms their vote. This prevents the impartial person from doing anything 'partial,' and limits the voting to only those that play the server. This was definitely an option in this particular case because obviously since you posted on the forums, the majority of people that play 11th are active on the forums, right

Would these methods be a bit annoying to do? yes. would anyone who actually wanted a fair and meaningful election find an alternative to posting on the forums like a drunk warlock .. yep..

Make another forum. Make it so you have to apply to be on a forum, and the admin would then check if the person has logged in there in the past week and has more than a certain amount of followers/exp. This way, anyone who wants to have an election on any server can request and then have one fairly. Ill make one, but i dont feel like doing all the work, so if any of the mods, or toonces, wants to volunteer to take over, go ahead. Ill post a link to the election forum when im done.

I should have used Invision plus, I'm too unfamiliar with forumotion. The next admin can see if they can fix up so only members of the certain group can vote, etc. At least you can work with this.

Anyone want to volunteer to be Admin? PM me and ill give you the password to the admin account, as well as the name and password of the Admin email address
