Getting rid of the new layouts would be dumb. It's nice to have some variety, and it's not like the new layouts are all hard, just a few of them.

I like the idea, but I think you could take it a step further and assign different ranks for everyone in the corporation if you want. Like the lowest rank wouldn't be able to mess with certain functions on a col, primarily the solar.

How about a compromise? Have only cols that get a certain research can become DD, and if that research is achieved, then u pay 4500 tokes in order to build it? Toonces gets his tokes and we get some fair distribution and limit to the ammt of DD?! That would also increase people building new cols :m...
