ion towers should drop the "hide you in space" crap and scramble the radar while on the surface instead. you would still be able to leave an hour before the sol or lasers finally made it to where u landed, but at least it would have the illusion of being a dangerous planet type. also broadband scann...

Sorry for the delay with the patch. In the meantime, whenever you do attempt to log in, make sure you close the entire program to desktop and relaunch each time you try to log in. if you do not do this and immediately log back in from the name/pass screen your packet loss will rise all the way to 1...

dont cry out for nerfs on the cmine! i think normal mines should "cloak" on the system radar unless u have neutrino scanners and "cloak" up close unless u have battle scanners. default scanners would be able to detect the weight in the system if u were paranoid enough to press alt S. while u got me ...

laser walls used to be severely over powered when they were first implemented, 20 nerfs on lasers later though and you can now autopilot right through them like they aren't there. people used to deploy npc killing lasers in the systems where they spawned and around black holes (where they would get ...

when u buy drinks it implies that "government and settings can influence research" - so that would be why we think it is not entirely random. we could do a blitzkrieg or two and figure this out for sure, would help to get an assload of people to log in to hand us their starting cash for rushing dome...

i've suggested cloaked mines before, but u are wrong on detection methods. to be balanced u should be able to see them no matter what scanners you currently have, if not you are just implementing a griefn tool. tactical and battle scanners would show them up close when u got into visual range (leavi...

hello i am a dumb A55 newb and i think experience actually matters in a perma! it really bothers me that other people played this game for 3 years and own more planets, have more money, and are just generally more powerful than me in every way. i think the best thing to do is make it so that if you...

If you're lagging graphically (IE it takes you longer to update your screen) its also taking you longer to send packets. IE more lag. We stop drawing thrusters and other things in the hopes to speed up your framerate and lower your lag. Its not really a bug, more of a feature :) this "feature" appl...
