Pax started yesterday evening, and while it is in the in-game news, Toonces has yet to make an official topic! I really hope he does so, and soon, or there will be both people who miss out and some who are disadvantaged by late starts

kill all the aliens on the planet you want to research. then, pick up all the resources except those you want to gain more of thru research. so for strip mining you'd pick up everything but metal ore.
