Just exit the game to desktop. Then you have three options!

1) Re-load the game again, and do so every time you have the lag. It'll fix after 2-3 times.

2) Play a different game

3) Turn off the computer and play xbox.

Not exactly. When you try to select a government or tax rate with researches you can't click on them. The govt/tax drop down menu is transparent and automatically goes to the starpedia page of whichever research you clicked.

Rankings and the Who's Online pop ups are acting strange now. Blanked out similar to what the port prices did.

EDIT: Also same thing happening with refinery resources.

[IDEA] New Research to Improve Mine Production

My research team needs the ability to discover a way to increase mine production. There are industrial complex for turrets and advanced aerodynamics for missiles, but nothing for mines.
I would love having my colony be a huge mine factory!

I love the idea and would add some unique aspects to the games simple and sometimes bland game play. Would be cool to be able to just change a ships colors, but will be awesome to pick what ship components you want or need for a particular task. Expensive ship upgrades will give players on permavers...

It would be nuked and torped too easy....would only really be good for taking solar hits. Or if you use teamwork you can use it in a space fight, others will flank you while you're fighting.
