Re: Mail to email not working
I'm assuming he had it set, and was working up until 3-4 days ago. Therefor there was a bug of some sort and people shouldn't need to reset their email every time something gets messed up. _______________________ Thorin | Save The Rebangs That is correct. I don't know if the refinery is lying or what, but there definately is an issue. I have had numerous cols that have been stable at 5k since the refinery patch suddenly drop to 2k in the last week or so, others that have been stable at 8-9k have dropped to 4k. None of the settings on these cols have ...

Re: Horrible lag/freezing for past 2 weeks
I've had similar issues that started with the most recent batch of 4 or 5 patches. Game freezes for about 15 seconds then resumes, usually shakily. When it happens I'm usually showing a ping of 160 or lower and it's jumped to 350-650 immediately after. It then takes 5-10 minutes of sitting in port f...

If your going to argue about their being a difference between an animal adapting a different color and it becoming a different species altogether then you obviously don't understand evolution. Evolution says that, basically due to error in the reproduction of DNA, that random mutations will happen ...

You're misidentifying sub-species as species. Again, we have worm/worm, Stephanomeira/Stephanomeira, maize/maize and Yellow Monkey Flower/Yellow Monkey Flower. To show evidence of macro-evolution, you need to show a jump from worm, Stephanomeira, maize or Yellow Monkey Flower to something other tha...

Re: Evolution
Note that there is no claim that a new species had been created, just evidence that micro-evolution alone can create enough difference within a species to prevent interbreeding among seperate populations . Seems to me that for successful evolution, "survival of the fittest" and all, having more rep...

Re: Evolution
Interesting take. So, you're saying that A changes to B. If B is somehow superior to A, then B survives and A dies off. To follow, since man evolved from apes, and survived, then apes all died off, as had all the inferior forms prior to apes. Right? Man didn't evolve from apes! Ape and man have a c...

Re: Evolution
Just saying the difference between micro- and macro-evolution is artificial. Nature doesn't adhere to manmade boundaries. Mutation can cause changes in DNA, added DNA, deleted DNA whatever (whole chromosomes can be copied, deleted. Whole nucleotide sections can be changed). This can cause one or mo...

And what about section 5.2 of the FAQ he posted? Observed instances of speciations in Plant Species not Involving Hybridization or Polyploidy. Re: Evolution
you agree that micro-evolution is a fact, my first question to you is then: do you agree that mutation (in all its forms) is a fact? I agree that mutations occur, and that fully documented occurances are fact. I agree that speculated or theorized mutations are speculated or theorized. Since your de...

Re: Evolution
You're right. I've heard the 'difference' between micro- and macro-evolution thing so often as an argument against evolution that I made some bad assumptions. You're saying that evolution can take place within a species, but not make new species. The question you then have to ask yourself is: what'...

Spontaneous? I don't think the list has any at the moment, though I may as well be wrong as I did not have time to read up on all of the examples. Spontaneous speciations are hard to observe as they happen quite randomly and may take a long time. I fail to see how it is relevant though, artificiall...

No, the creation of a new species through the manipulated interbreeding of 2 existing species is completely irrelevant to any discussion about evolution. I do not think you've read the report carefully enough. Many of the examples do not deal with manipulated interbreeding of two existing species. ...

Microevolution is fact, not theory, it's proof is all around us. Macroevolution, on the other hand, is nothing but theory and speculation. There's no such thing as micro- and macro-evolution. Those are made up by creationists. That's priceless, especially so coming from one who seems to think he re...

We DID screw up the ozone layer. Evidence for that even stands today, when no one cares anymore... So, we've done irreperable harm to the ozone, causing cooling. And we've done other irreperable harm to the atmosphere that causes warming. Seems to me that we solved our own problem then. Right?? And...

Do you even DO research on the things you're claiming? Like nature fixing the ozone depletion? Of course, ozone is generated worldwide every day. But still there is a steady decline of 4% per decade in the total volume of ozone in the earth's stratosphere. Ozone can be destroyed by a number of free...

What I don't understand is what people think a person would gain by making up a hoax like global warming. Maybe to gain funds somehow and use them for their own gain?
