A similar concept may work for a mega-galaxy, where instead of corps you would have 2 waring nations or teams.

Basically whoever got a head start in rankings can never be passed with the corp having no fear of dying/losing exp. Good example of this is on Golden Age. Phase of Pwnsauce got popped, he has 325 million exp and the guy that PK'ed him got 2 million exp. A true kick in the face and killing players ...

Oh no! how "unfortunate", all my colonies are now on 0% tax. I guess resetting ore on all my colonies wont be quite so bad now, since I have to reset the tax rate on all of them anyway. I guess it's time to get out the credit card and buy some fuel.

No, there are too many 10/120 nuke eaters around. Please leave ore usage as it is. If possible, can refinery sliders be locked on the next server to bang, (or just apply to TOS since we already have enough servers). 10/120s would then be determined by research and not everything would be a 10/120. The size of the current player base can't really support new servers. But if a new server absolutely must be created, maybe refinery sliders could be locked or have no bio3 (5k population limit). That way not everything will be a 10/120, you would need to be lucky with your research to get 10/120s ...

The Intergalactics' Ship top speed was reduced by 5% to make up for having its hardware bays doubled from 8 to 16, which happened a few months ago and made the IGS, in my opinion, a little too powerful even for a token-bought ship. Couldn't you have just removed 8 hardware bays? Or have two version...

I used to buy IGS because it had better top speed than seth and better thrusting and steering than ISC. Now it's just another crappy builder's ship with a useless secondary weapon.
I don't see any point in wasting $10 on it when seth and ISC now both have better stats than IGS.

chia pet corpies can still turn milli down to nearly nothing. ...or sell/jet ore. all this did was hurt trusted corpmates. Commodities market FTW!!! Colony settings should be lockable, or you should be able to specify which settings are locked out to which corpmates (not only solar cannon settings).
