This is a good idea. A variety should be offered, of course:
- vertical banner side bar
- horizontal header / banner
- square "icon" or ad
- small 88 x 30 or so "button"

Agreed Zach. Total net worth is a rather deceptive value, atm. To me, it simply means someone has been too lazy to turn their money into defenses or colonies, and slap down the structures. A high net worth means there's something you should be doing with that money to win, but y're not.

Too easy to monopolise. However, a total tally of your corporate reputation should be kept. If you fall enough or rise high enough, it should affect how NPC and the UN deal with you. Too low = UN and yellow NPC shoot you on sight, even follow you. Very high = UN allows special favors, special ships/...

yep, pollution is far too important and disasterous in effect, with far too little information documented about it in-game. We need to know more about it, and how to combat it, if it's going to kill off over half our planet's population the instant it hits 50%.

There's already a 2-member corp limit rebang. That's WAY too much of a starting position, with all those planets/colonies, population, and defenses preset.
