Tiny planets appear as either silver (Moon) or brown (Pluto) planets and are notably smaller than all others. Like the gas giants, tiny planets can't hold colonies.

Often artifacts spawn on tiny planets especially in galaxies where most of the planets are already colonized.

Tiny planets contain mostly metal ore and aliens.

Tiny planets are sometimes used for racetracks as they have very low drag.

Sleepers low on funds sometimes try to hide themselves on tiny and gaseous planets as players seldom land on these planets.
