Galaxy map

From Starport: Galactic Empires

The Galaxy Map window shows the whole galaxy. It can be accessed by pressing Alt-G, by typing /map into the console, or by selecting Galaxy Map from the Computer menu at the top of the screen. Stars are represented by coloured orbs, and the warp points between them are represented by lines. Grey lines are adjacent to unexplored systems, while white lines represent warp paths that have been explored. Green lines indicate your current autopilot path. Red lines are shown adjacent to UN space.

Your current position in the galaxy is represented by a red diamond. Selected systems are indicated with a white circle. If the selected system is explored, basic port information can be found via the Port tab in the top-left corner of the window, and the layout of its planets is shown in the bottom-left corner of the map window.

Shift+click a star on the galaxy map to paste coordinates into chat or type the coordinates as (###,###) and they will show up as a hyperlink for easy viewing.
