From Starport: Galactic Empires

Credits ($) is the currency of Starport.

Players can only hold $100 million in their bank account and $100 million on their person at a time.

Credits can be obtained in various ways:

• Killing NPC's

• Killing players

• Collecting taxes from colonies

• Trading

• Doing taxi and escort missions

• Trading Tokens for Credits

• Player to player transactions (barging, escort, etc.)

Other

Starport creator Aaron "Toonces" Hunter sometimes starts a recession when a Galaxy contains too much unused money. The last known recession lasted from January 11th 2008 until January 25th 2008.
