IDEA: New Scanner

I don't have a name for this but meh...this might overbalance the game but thought id post it.

Scanner Name: ???(help me out with this)
Scanner Cost: 2,000,000
Scanner Affect: When used it allows you to see the Shield Percentage of other ships and it shows you the owner of every colonized planet in the system.It eats up 10 fuel but it can help you determine which planet you want to invade.

i meant 2 put a nothing option for the poll but guess it didnt place it here...replace the all of the above option with nothing and i doubt anyone would want every one of these to be in the game:S lol.

a scanner that reads off shield percentage and who owns what doesnt seem to make sense. Those 2 arent really related, a scanner that tells shield percentage, cloked ships, and how much weight each planet has would be alot more usefull.

A scanner shouldnt be able to read who owns what in a system. seems cheesey to me.

I don't see what good it would be to see who owns what in a system, seeing as you can already just touch a planet and see the colony owner once you scan for weight. Obviously these things have signs on them.

how about a 3mill scanner that lets u see shields and planet weight. 7 fuel for each scan. but can't see cloaked ships

10 fuel is way to much, and the scanners are good the way they are. A bad fighting (tactical) and a good fighting (battle) scanner and a bad exploration (broadband) and a good exploration ( neutrino) scanner. An extra scanner combinating the tactical and neutrino would be imbalanced
