I wonder where gothic or punk is. I've been expecting him to gloat how his patriots crushed the jets for a couple days now.

Yankees vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Thunder winning because 70% of the yankees get red carded.

I think he's still moping.

My picks for the conference championships:

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears - Being on their home field won't help the bears against the hottest team in the NFL right now. The only chance Chicago has is to knock Aaron Rodgers out of the game early.

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers - Both great defensive teams, but I believe that Ben Roethlisberger's Super bowl experience and ability to create plays is going to be the difference in this one.

You wouldn't find the Jet's 1st half defense with a magnifying glass...

Besides that:

Score: 24-10, Pittsburgh, Jets on the Steelers' 2. First and goal.

Running play on first down. Gets a yard, inside the 1.

Then B. shotty gets it in his head that neither Shonn Greene, LT, or Tony Richardson will be able to bust out a yard in the next 3 downs.

So he has his 2nd year QB throw TWICE IN A ROW into the cramped (and thus, easier to defend) end zone.

4th down, and now the Steelers know they have to run. great. STOMPED.

The sad thing was, LT had a decent sized hole open up for him on the play fake of the first pass, and if they had given him the ball instead of Sanchez throwing one and getting it tipped, they'd have scored...

Rex Ryan looked like his first-born child had died in that post-game press conference. He gave everything he had this season - just came up a bit short. One has to be impressed with his defensive coaching prowess, however. Pittsburgh offense had NOTHING for the jets in the 2nd half. 24 points was just too big of a hole to climb out of.
