Agreed, Utd's squad is painfully average, suddenly full of players who are either over the hill or simply not good enough. Without Rooney we have no one to drive the team forward, Berba is a good player but just doesn't suit Utds game, he slows everything down too much.

Anyway, no great shock you don't like Messi that much, he isn't that well liked in his homecountry as apparently he went to Europe too soon, you seem to prefer players to play in your league for a few years before moving on.

Too everyone else in the world he is the best player by a mile!!

I understand that you, being from S.America instantly though of Boca. But seeing this thread is dedicated to European footy, but also welcomes world footy, the use of the phrase Barca is acceptable to 99% of its readers.

Can't say I'm not happy about it though. Good ole Redbulls moved from Giants stadium (in jersey) to a brand spanking new stadium in Newark (Ironside). I remember passing Giants stadium last year on my way to work and seeing the Redbull fans having the stadium parking lot near full with RV's, tailgate parties, and loads and loads of fans. It's getting pretty big here. I even heard a New York sport talk station (WFAN) supporting world cup soccer (even though fans of the station ripped him a new one for not talking about the Yankees 40th straight win).

this really makes me . I always thought Henry was a brilliant player, sad to see that his career is over and he now has to play in the USA...
