Your account is stored on the Starprot server for one month after your last login, so don't worry about losing it for now. Some problems may be that you have changed your I.P. address, such as the adding of a WiFi network, moving your computer to a different access point in your house, connecting to the web with a different connection then usual, or adding devices to your current net work. This can be solved by making sure that you have the same setup as you did when your first started playing. It may also be a problem with the program, or your installation file path. To fix this, go to Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Then un-install "Starport GE vX.X". It is in alphabetical order, if you are having trouble finding it. After you are done Un-installing, make sure to delete the directory folder by going to My Computer - Drive C: - Programs Files - And deleting the now empty "Starprot GE" folder. Again, don't worry, your profile is still saved on the Starport servers. After all this is done, go to
http://www.starportgame.com/download.php and re-download the installer, and re-install. Let it install, patch, and start-up, and the problem should be fixed. If you are still experiencing problems, send an e-mail to
aaron@starportgame.com, with a description of your problem, and they will do there best to help you from their end. It may take a few days to get a response, so in the mean time you could also sent a PM (Private Message) to Toonces, the site/game admin. To do that, click "Members" near the logout button, and he is the top profile, click on his name, and then click "send private message". Write a brief message explaining your situation and he may get back to you with a solution faster. :)
