When someone tells you that weed is bad for you and you will fail in life, just tell them this: "Michael Phelps is a pot head and he won 8 Gold medals in one olympics, I can do anything!"

Weed

Effects of THC include relaxation, euforia, change in orientation, increased heart rate, lowered bloodpressure, impairment of coordination, concentration and short term memory.

Long term effects are less clear. If weed is smoked with tobacco, it can be physically addictive because of the nicotin. Also lung diseases can be the result of long term use. Alone, marihuana is not physically addictive.

Lethal dosage: there has never been a documented human fatality bc of weed. An estimated dosage for fatality in humans is about 1500 pounds of marihuana smoked in 15 minutes.

Alcohol
Effects of alcohol include relaxation, cheerfulness, blurred vision, coordination problems, dehydration. Higher dosages can have unconsiousness as effect, alcohol poisoning and death.

Long term effects include liver disease, cancer, damage to the central and peripheral nervous system, heart disease, long term memory loss, and a whole range of other diseases. Alcohol is physically addictive.

Lethal dosage: 40% of blood content is usually considered a lethal dosage, though it may be more or less dependent on the individual. Generally, a 100 pound man/woman consuming 9 or 10 standard drinks in less than an hour would be in the lethal dosage range.

So anyone saying you shouldn't do weed while buying you a drink should have his head examined ;).

weed was made illegal because its a superior fabric that anyone could get next to free. its literally a weed and can grow just about anywhere, as opposed to its rival cotton which is an incredibly tempremental plant. pants and sails and stuff made of hemp were cheap and easy to produce, and much more durable than competing fibers - a set of old school hemp clothes lasted a lifetime in comparison to them. that's why major competing companies such as dupont lobbied to criminlazie it so their sh1tty (but more expensive) products that needed constant replacement could be phased in.

george washington, benjamin franklin, and nearly all of the other founding fathers smoked marijuana and they were responsible for establishing one of the longest lasting, free, and prosperous society/countries in recorded history.

so its sad that today we are no longer free or prosperous, having turned our backs on the constitution. USA now has more prisoners behind bars, thats total AND per capita, than any other country on earth. the majority of them are non violent drug cases, and of those 90 percent are marijuana. want to solve the economic crisis? just think of the billions the country would save in court costs alone if weed were legalized.

how can you continue to enjoy and support a corrupt system that refuses to arrest or even fire congressmen who routinely snort cocaine off naked 13 year old boys but ostrasizes and gives life sentences to the poor kids when they use marijuana to take their mind off it?
