a) I never use torpedoes

b) I was hugging tyred I was invading/chatting around 2 O'clock in the morning

c) Invading with a computer that can't even show laser shots in a desent way isn't easy.

Getting lag pwned is fun but I like building on permas beter although it was a funny experience.

i never use a sethdar, ive used one in probably two dozen out of a thousand invasions (or more) and i generally play in the middle of the night (like now, its 5 in the morning)

no need to get into an argument though, different invaders of different skill use resources differently is all.

How many nukes to take this? ...zero :o

i) wallslide either top right or bottom right (watch out for alien on bottom right)

ii) then dodge solar and torpdo the bottom left or atleast make a hole in it, then escape and reshield.

iii) finish off torping bottom left, then torp a corridor to the dome and take it.

Of course high chance of death during the slide and also awkward to dodge solar and lazer while torping the bottom left, but it is possible :)

I disagree bladerunner. Sliding up top right or bottom is damn near impossible isn't it? You would hit that laser blocking the way and get CREAMED by lasers and solar fire.

Drifters plan is solid and possible, ive done slides worse than that BTW 2k. However chance of death at least once is almost 100% so your goal should be to get in and then make it as easy as possible to get in next time.

EDIT: oh BTW the key to sliding is the landing, keep landing and leaving till u get the right spawn.

yeah thats what i do, just land until you get nice and close to your sliding spot, then you hurry up, use boosters all the way through, get out of direct lazer fire, then fire nukes to make it easier sliding next time, then try to get out (if not, you will die, kill as many as you can before you do) and again and again

Heh at the end when I nuked out the bottom left to the exact same layout as that just it was a different planet type, I got out with 100 shields and such in my ISC sometimes cause i had to rush towards the area i wanted to nuke near the wall at the bottom right :) so yeah took a lotta solar shots there heh.

lol, wanna know something funny?

i was about to invade a 5000 planet, with like 0 mil and only like 2000 tonnage, but it was the type with the long entrance, so i killed the two tabs on either side making it hard to invade, but there was no def at the dome, just at the entrance, so after about 5-7 trys i slide past the beggining section, only to get a pop-up from the internet hit me exactly as i was about to hit the dome, and my screen switched to the pop-up, and i got killed by the sol cannon

That's my colony dear not an ennemy colony *sigh*

All my replies are made in the same seize so that explains the big gap sometimes, I'd rather not waist time making long pointless replies and play a bit more :P.

Thats pretty cool actually!

and thank god for the lag issues being improved!

i dont really care i never have time to log on anyways but thats just good to hear for all the people that can play heavily(unlike me)

and for a second i thought toonce hated us with all the changes hed been making lately, such a BR rebanged as perma, and only 250 nukes in factory instead of unlimitited. but hell, thats cool.
