Buy moral for your colonies
I think that because it can be hard to almost imposable to have a very high population colony without the moral being r@ped we should be able to toss money at the ppl and make them happy (works for me).
The idea is that you spend 1 million creds and get +100 moral.
With this it is possable to have a 20k pop colony that still makes money and weapons for you.

Hmm....okay, so you first introduce an idea.....then you tell us exactly why it won't be implemented...The real Hellbent wrote: The idea is that you spend 1 million creds and get +100 moral.

No, no no.
You can already buy structures (rushing). You can speed up harvesting and population growth (hauling or pay a contractor). You can even buy weapons (although going all the way to the bases is a pain). Making morale a cash-based commodity would make everything instantly obtainable and money-driven.
This would also destroy any use for Charisma, upsetting the balance of choices when making your character.
If all planets could have huge stable populations then quality building would become irrelevant. Much of the nuance of the game - the balance between building and invasion - would be lost.

mehhhhhhh, i still think it's a good idea, but readin what squeemish said i think it should be limited, for example: we could do like the spice fuel, only a certain amount per day, and should be expensive to do, for example, idk : for every 100 morale you have to spend 1 mill to do it and you can only do this once per 24 hours.
this should limit people so this is not abused
