What an embarrassing defeat for Celtic today ... Premier league team ..
Beaten 2-nill by Ross County

There is absolutely no doubt, Messi could be the greatest player ever, single handedly destroyed Arsenal..
Uniteds blunder against Blackburn shocked me, No Rooney, Berbatov a waste of space, Rio was injured, Neville wasnt on form, hell lucky we didnt take a 1-0 defeat.
City smashed Birmingham, I think the deciding factor in that game was the penalty, hell they came into contact, but it couldnt be helped..
Chelsea to win the league... sadly..

Agreed, Utd's squad is painfully average, suddenly full of players who are either over the hill or simply not good enough. Without Rooney we have no one to drive the team forward, Berba is a good player but just doesn't suit Utds game, he slows everything down too much.Stormy wrote:There is absolutely no doubt, Messi could be the greatest player ever, single handedly destroyed Arsenal..

Chelski for the double!
Re: European Football, aka "The Beautiful Game"
Right, Very happy right about now.. ManCity 0 - 1 ManUnited..
No goals scored for the 92 minutes, 93rd minute, Nani crosses it n n Scholes goes for the header, the god damn 93rd minute, Crucial or what?
This let's us be one point behind, Chelsea in the race for the title, If we win everygame from now, It's ours.. Next Saturday, Totteham V ManUnited.
Wigan Athletic 3 - 2 Arsenal, Those guys scored 3 goals within 10 minutes, to put Arsenals hopes of the title, In the bin:)

This dont make sense. If Chelsea win every game too, you'll still be a point behind?Stormy wrote:This let's us be one point behind, Chelsea in the race for the title, If we win everygame from now, It's ours

MAN. UNITED FTW!

Key game is at Anfield, if you drop any points there then we have a chance...Dr.Strangelove wrote:This dont make sense. Don't think I could take the sight of Terry, Lampard, Drogba, cashley, etc parading around with the trophy! :shudder:

Well Moley, 2 games to go and not enough nails left in our fingers to bite. I think ye will get 6 points, banker. So as Alex says, Its ours to lose.
Liverpool will decide who wins the title.

Chelsea FC. League Champions 2010. Nuf said
Re: European Football, aka "The Beautiful Game"
Chelski deserved the title this year, ManU haven't been playing well enough to deserve it, also any team scoring over 100 goals in a season must be doing something right!!!
Have to be a little thankful to Drogba though, I had him as captain in the final game of our fantasy league and just managed to win the league for the third year in a row!

Arrgh... please spell team names correctly. Boca is NOT Barca xD. Anyway, Messi is a very well-paid player but he is a bit too much of a diva if you ask me. I'm an Argentine so I am looking at this fairly objectively. Sorry if I posted on that post kind of late... but I saw it and I had to respond xD.Moleman wrote:Anyone watch the Barca-v-Arsenal match last night.... Messi may well be the greatest player who has ever lived, and still only 22!

Barca = short for Barcalona
Anyway, no great shock you don't like Messi that much, he isn't that well liked in his homecountry as apparently he went to Europe too soon, you seem to prefer players to play in your league for a few years before moving on.
Too everyone else in the world he is the best player by a mile!!
He is certainlly the best player i have ever seen in around 30 years of watching football!

Re: European Football, aka "The Beautiful Game"
Moley did actually spell the names correctly, or use the proper abbrievation for it. Barca is widely accepted as short for Barcelona. I understand that you, being from S.America instantly though of Boca. But seeing this thread is dedicated to European footy, but also welcomes world footy, the use of the phrase Barca is acceptable to 99% of its readers.ArdRhys4 wrote:Arrgh... please spell team names correctly. I see. Sorry, I saw arsenal (argentine team) and thought it was an intra-country game xD. Also, I didn't know that about Barcelona. Sorry .Dr.Strangelove wrote:Moley did actually spell the names correctly, or use the proper abbrievation for it. Barca is widely accepted as short for Barcelona. I just have a feeling New york and in particular American soccer is going to get ripped from this one.
Can't say I'm not happy about it though. Good ole Redbulls moved from Giants stadium (in jersey) to a brand spanking new stadium in Newark (Ironside). I remember passing Giants stadium last year on my way to work and seeing the Redbull fans having the stadium parking lot near full with RV's, tailgate parties, and loads and loads of fans. It's getting pretty big here. I even heard a New York sport talk station (WFAN) supporting world cup soccer (even though fans of the station ripped him a new one for not talking about the Yankees 40th straight win).
Viva Henry!

this really makes me . I always thought Henry was a brilliant player, sad to see that his career is over and he now has to play in the USA...Major wrote:http://www.cnn.com/2010/SPORT/football/ ... google_cnn
