Well, I'm a Manchester City fan (Yes we also have another team that plays in the same area, but their fans all live in London) - so European football is something that I have only known of for 2 seasons since I first went to watch city games (98% of United fans have never seen them play!).

Oh, but now they have had some fuel-injection by our new Arab owners - I think they might be there a bit more often... hopefully at the expense of our poorer rivals in the red-half of Manchester.

Mr Strangelove PM'ed me to write here as he saw my profile and spotted I’m a city fan!!! So, here you go Doctor. I do have a soft spot for Chelski, as they are a rival of Man United... and they always say that your enemies enemy is your friend. My second team is A.B. United (Anyone BUT United), and I support anyone that united play. I wish i had a season ticket in the away stand at Old Scrafford.

I loved it at the weekend when Liverpool beat United 2-0! I had a sore throat even this morning (Tuesday) from cheering so much! I laffed my tits off.

I hope that if city don’t win the prem this year that Chelsea or Arsenal do, and united and spurs don’t even qualify for the europa league!!!

Blue Moon rising over Manchester :D

Greatest Player who ever lived. (and the reason there are so many ManU fans in Norn Iron)

Premership will be really close this year, almost as close as the 'who is the most unpleasant striker in the City team' competition ;)

Nice... A City fan nd Utd fan. I c fireworks :)

Odds on the City fan actually lives in Manchester tho, roflmao

As for Premiership race. I think its gonna b between Chelsea nd United. Dont think City r there yet but I could b wrong. For sure tho they will hav an influence in the top part of the league for yrs to come.

Dont think the Arsenal r gonna do diddly squat tho. Theyr all style, no substance. The dirty North London Scum.
As for Liverpool, well lets just say I think they'll finish above Everton

I do hope Aston Villa break into the top 4. it'll b tough going but they hav a bigger squad this yr so fingers crossed for Martin O'Neill.

Would hav to agree with Moley on Best. Pure Legend, and the fact he came for the Island of Ireland swings it for me over Maradonna. Tis a shame he nvr played in a world cup tho :(

One thing i do think it Best was the best. Even tho i hate united with a passion that burns brighter than a billion stars - i do admire pure talent when i see it. It was a shame that he wasted his life on alcohol in such a way - but any one that can play like he did when he was out of his skull deserves the highest praise. It goes to show that girly-boy Ronaldo wasnt even close to the pure skills and natural tallent that Besty had in his little toe. Its just a shame that besty was a united player!

Imagine Best playing today with the lighter balls, perfect pitches and a lot more protection from the refs, he'd be unstoppable!

Playing footy with his nephew tonight 8)

So what about ur fav players of all time. Mine is

4-4-2

GK) Shea Given
RB) Dan Petrescu
LB) Grame LeSaux
CB) Ron "Chopper" Harris
CB) John Terry
RM) Charlie Cooke
LM) Gianfranco Zola
CM) Dennis Wise
CM) Johnny Giles
F) Peter Osgood
F) Niall Quinn (and his disco pants)

I know there is a heavy chelsea & Ireland infulence but they have given me my best football memories throughout my life. If I was to pick who I thought was the best XI in the world I guess only one r two would make the team alongside the likes of Besty, Cruyff, Maradonna, etc etc.

Of the modern era maybe, but of all time....no. I'd go for Cryuff, Best, Pele or Maradonna.

What team u follow?

Maybe so, but how often are they gonna change their manager in the nxt yr or so? Sure they got a classy squad but they are only human and feel as much pressure as any other superstar squad. Sure they might dominate La Liga for nxt yr or two but then Barcelona will spend big and they will have a few years. I see no change in Spain. Althought its a good league its just like Scotland in the fact that its always only a 2 horse race.

CB) Richard Gough
RM) C.Ronaldo (hate him but he's good)

Ok, my go. Made it with recent era players rather than legends from the past.

My team would quite clearly destroy any of the teams above me!

GK) Buffon
RB) G Neville (we love him, everyone else hates him)
CB) Cannavaro
CB) Rio
LB) Cashley Cole (terrible human being, great LB)
RM) Beckham :adore:
CM) Kaka (sorry scholes)
CM) Keane
LM) Cronaldo (sorry giggs)
ST) Ronaldo (in his prime)
ST) Bergkamp

I'm slightly aroused at the thought of seeing that team play...

MING does not take penalties. MING executes all who atempts to play foul against the Emperor, then claims Victory over the burnt corpse of the former foe
