Post by Ichigo » Wed Jan 07, 2009 12:31 am

Welcome to the Flame Game. Where you flame, the game.

How to play?

Basically, you will say a game, and the next person will rave or flame the game

i.e- Maplestory

Horrible Graphics, it sucks, fail, just epic fail,

And now you would mention another game

I'll start in the coloumn below

(I played part of Baldur's Gate one, so I'll give it a shot.)

Friggin epically awesome RPG for the PC.. I played it for hours and hours, and never even got to the city for which the game takes it's name. Of which there was a huge map of included in the box the game came in. The world is huge, fun to explore, with tons of incidents and side quests, which you could potentially never even encounter and still beat the game.

Roam around looking for things to blow up, but only if you're in a fleet of 20 or more. Amazing graphics, generally bad game play and terribly boring "end game" material.

Its hard to flame a game thats perfect. I can say its glitchy at times. Traffic and light patterns, and the invisible A.I. that can target you but you cant target them cause theres too many targets.

you youngsters may have to google this.

Whoa, you guys know about Yahtzee? I've been following him since he made 5 days a stranger.. awesome series btw if you haven't played it.

Art of Theft is a fun, engaging take on side-scroller stealth type genre. The controls are good, the game keeps you going with things like upgrades and new abilities.

It starts to get really hard to make it through a moving laser tripwire in time before the guard sees you.. and I got really frustrated and threw my keyboard out the window and stopped playing.

Each person has different opinions and tasted which can't be discussed. Maybe you love the game in every way possible but he hates it in every way possible. This is life, get used with it.

Thanks for the tip, lol.

I say that because Starcontrol has very similar gameplay and graphics as SGE; it no doubt was an influence on SGE's development. It also is an old game, and it's graphics are pretty much as good as they got for back then.

That being the case, I'm surprised anyone who actually played it (and also plays here) would say that about it, and I was hoping I might find someone else besides me who did actually play it.

Maybe he was confused about the point of the thread and thinks he has to flame the game no matter what, idk.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

never played perfect world international but just judging by appearances and what I've heard it sounds like one of those "levels trump skill" games.

starcontrol is pure bliss, one cannot find ones self unless through starcontrol
I use atleast 3 starcontrol quotes a day.

I've played it to the point where I can beat the entire campaign in an afternoon.

(btw, starcontrol 3 was a major phail and does not count as a starcontrol game because the mycon sound like a poor snake plisken impression!)

do flash games count?

if so
Amateur Surgeon (christmas addition)

if not
Tribes: Vengeance

Good Games. I like the gameplay in both. To generalize both.
