I think there should be like gas stations at ports so people can buy fuel on the run instead of waiting to regain fuel.

This has already been implemented.

The "gas station" is known as "the admirals club".

there's always jetting spice as well...and depending on how you think about it, it is like being able to stop at a gas station (port) and buy gas (spice) - although it still does require time to regenerate.

Fuel is designed to balance the game, and I don't think you want to change that balance. A limit of fuel stops ppl with unlimited time in RL to spend unlimited time on here invading and building everywhere - with no fuel (or an unlimited refueling), there would be no balance curve of available RL time

Yeah. I copy pasted it into a openoffice doc then changed it into a .pdf and zoomed in about 1200%.
