Scout maurauder tweak?

This ship seriously needs some tweaks to it.

For one, it should be able to outrun and outthrust every other ship in the game, including cruisers.

With 2K shields and a lousy rear firing pea shooter weapon, the 7 warp fuel usage hardly offsets it's other weaknesses.



It's useful to explore the map by using only 2 less fuel, and that's about it. Though if I have the money, I would just go with a speedstar instead since it has an even higher effeciency... but only by 1

Perhaps if it could outrun all other ships and deploy a proximity mine.

Maybe instead of a rear firing peashooter, it would instead shoot a rear firing version of whatever weapon you purchased.

Say you purchased a graviton beam, if you press CTRL, it fires forward, if you press TAB it fires it behind you.

Same for any other weapon you may have. fusion blasters, hellbore, whatever.

NICE! now thats a GREAT IDEA! I mean it indeed should outrun everything else because its a scout, the word scout means agility, speed manoeuvrability but a big lack of weaponry. Now the peashooter is a big lack already but its to big! someone with any ship wouldnt even get hurt by the peeshooter unless its anonther scout who no one will ever buy. ATM the scout is by far the most un-usefull ship there is!

Gotha luv the tweaks on the CEO ship and battleship tough!

I think other ships are pretty much allright, the ISC, Seth, speedstar, ceo there all good, IG should have 16hardwarebays (i dunno how manny it has but as its a token ship it should deffinatelly have more then a CEO)

The barge should stay the same aswell, just because its a garbage barge!!!! :D

both mercs are good to start out in, (afterall theyre starter ships)


YEAH lets give that scout more speed and proximity mines!!! make it a ship!

nah outrunning all other ships isnt on. Its a taxi ship after all.
The Speedstar should be outrunning everything.

yeah, I think your right, its should be outrun only by the speedstar and MAYBE the IGS. Definitely think proximity mines would be better than front and back weapons. (because I thought of it) Its a sprinter ship, having front and back firing primary weapons would nullify tactics inherently existent with sprinting things.
