Recreate Character Name Feature

If you want to change your character name back to what it was on a server it won't let you.

Example:

My name was A when the server banged,

I changed my name to B,

I want to change my name back to A but I can't.

The game says "this name is taken or sounds too close to another players name". Meanwhile I have that name on other servers with no problem at all.

And no, someone does not have the name I want to use as a username in the log in screen because I can use the name on a new server without issues.

So once you change you character name on a server you can never change it back to what it was. This is a bug, never was a problem in the 6 years of Starport I have played.
