Can you tell me a little bit about your computer: how old is it? Is it a fast computer?

One thing you can try that may work as a work-around, you can open the StarportGE directory on your computer and delete the file called server.lst that is in that directory. After it's deleted try logging on to Starport again. Just let me know if you need any help with those steps.
