Question about setting up a Colony with another ship there

Ok, I found a rare Desert Planet on a Pax Server, and I want to set up a Colony, which costs a fortune on Perma Pax(so if need be, my ship will park here all night). Can I set up my Colony, and if so, will there be problems, or will the other ship be sent to space?

Once you place your dome, the other ship will be kicked into space.

heres a idea dont play pax lol
