ffs. my point is u can just put a laser out and it aims by itself.
a nuke u have to be able to control and know how to use it..

lol bringing in 8 nukes is alot easier to play with than bringing 8 lasers. It means that he also did a good job on you with his torps. Then again who am i to say i wasn;t there. This is you guys beef.

0 shields ISC w/ 5 lasers in the whole system vs 0 shields IGS with firewave...who should have died?


And the lasers are indeed self aiming, and thus "take no skill to hide behind" (other than I have to dodge everything coming my way, especially fire waves, and that I have to time everything just right to make my way to a laser under attack to pick it up and redeploy it), but it DOES take skill to use the lasers to block nukes with the new combat system. When I bring 8 lasers to a fight I'm taking the chance that none of my lasers will block and I'll be floating roasted Zav. Usually my skill pays off for me and I'm rewarded by having a couple lasers survive (I had 5 survive you, mainly because you never went after them in a 16 dex IGS after you just nuked them)

One of your nukes DID hit though. 2k damage, because I was basically floating in place (thought my laser would take it out for me, didn't). Also, I took a couple full firewave blasts to the face when I ran to retrieve a laser that had just been used to block a nuke. I took over 3k damage saving those lasers, you said in the fight you took 3k, not "over 3k." The end of the day, I did more damage with primary/secondary than you did.

Didn't lose a 1v1 to me? Fine. You lost to a laser. A single laser. 0% military. 2k shield laser vs 16k Notorious with 8 nukes.

how fast do lasers shoot when u get close especialy when your on "0" shields.... i have no chance of hitting u from that distance and u know it. until i finlay said hug it and chased u but u still just stood behind ur lasers.

Maybe notorious should take 8 lasers to fight zav next time? Just to make it "fair".

8 lasers are as fair as 8 nukes, its a matter of personal preference. You lost to zav in a fair 1v1, accept it.

Made a poster for this years event. It's crude, but it only took 30 minute sto whip up. So, enjoy.

at first i thought... what a newb i could do that... and then i saw the starter ship and said "oh...." and after thinking about it i knew it had to be something a bout lag but im thinking... that ping doesnt seem bad enough to have that drastic of results... "Im going to have to try this to see how hard it is... maybe its easier than it looks"

Something I just randomly made for some corp forums. Learned a couple of new tricks with Photoshop, this is my first experiment. I like it, others may not. If you don't I don't care. I'm not all that great with Photoshop anywho, so it don't hurt me none.

\ahh i remember that .. 5 of u tried to steal my cap .. iwas invading a col at the end of and arm by myself. no port for 2 hops. 5 peeps all 8 nukes.. notorious on low shields after leaving the col.....

Rofl, I'm now going nuts with Photoshop with my newfound skill of manipulating fonts. Who needs downloaded ones when you can do whatever the hell you want with your own? And my personal favorite, Bauhaus 93 is featured in all my newest things.

This is a remains of double dome on P1. My first DD I had ever taken as a matter of fact. I had kept it alive all the time I had been playing, but at some point while I was off for a while it was invaded and let rot. Sad sight to see, it was taken with the old style nukes and looking at it you can imagine how much of a bear that was. Also sad to see the weapons factory go, it had thousands of upon thousands of weapons in it, ever sort of them.

Please take care of the DD's players of P1, hate to see a relic like that die off.

I owned a couple of them back after bm took over p1 and they had that tournament... blacknova sort of dragged me into his p1 corp and i ended caping 3 DD's i only hope they didnt die after i left (thats my guilty face)

haha tell me about it, i quit for gd this time (i think). I've told everyone to invade me and im 13th at the moment with about 12mil exp xD
