Well I often disagreed with him for the short time I was here with him as mod, and I did find his mod style a bit unprofessional, but still you had to hand it to him he was a devoted mod and he did keep the place in shape. But this is all off topic...

Nukes don't explode on you, they just go back and forth over you for a long time (and EVENTUALLY explode if you don't land anywhere)

Something completely different.

I found this colony and slid it, then nuked out a slide stop so i could easily exit and re-enter.
I nuked the dome sufficiently for a capture attempt, when the owner showed up. He was a red and I believed him to be a sethdar so i fled out of the colony and he redefended it. Then i found out he was an IG ship, so i fought his ISC corpmate and him outside and got the ISC to 20%, however he intervened and the ISC lived and was able to port. Then i was able to pod the IG.

Afterwards, i slid the colony again, nuked out a different slide stop, and then had to go help my father with something in real life and had to leave before taking it or attacking the dome.

I came back tonight, and find the colony redefended as it is in the "before" shot below. So i slid it again, and using only explosive charges(no nukes) convert it into the "after" shot below.

This is the third bang I completed. M-J-S would have won but Birdguy79 (aka Pitviper) invaded everything he had. He and Starchaser were both nice enough to leave me alone. :)

Any of you rebang vets wanna take on a newbie, I'm your man. :)

btw I was making a little over 5k exp an hour so the final score was right around 600k.


edit: by "take on" i meant "corp with.." lol
