If it weren't for me being mod I would have quit the forums too.

There is a huge difference between the game and the forums. So I'll stay around as long as I'm needed, here on the forums.

How come you quit the game MadAce, i'd be interested in hearing your reasons, since ive been here you have been one of the most vocal in defending SGE?

I don't think anyone cares or should care.
There's a few reasons I'm quitting.

1: I suck.
2: I have personal BBQ.
3: Apart from disliking the forum community I started disliking the ingame community.
4: I noticed my loyalty isn't to SGE but to PTT, Toonces' creative vision in particular.
5: The game isn't to my liking anymore, not really the game but more the effect the game has on people.

I once made a post saying I would be loyal forever. Indeed I will be. But I also said I would be playing the game in 2100, even if I were the only one playing it.
That's more true than ever. Call me when I would be the only one playing it, and there is good AI to replace them players, or maybe decapitated monkeys. Tho I wouldn't want any medals of course.

The difference is that you have an illusion of power on the forums and that you never really have done your job here anyways.

And the game/forums are pretty much the same ; I mean we're talking about the game not the acutal forums. Thats what the forums are for to discuss SGE; not "forums" blankly on its own.

So yeah; there's no difference.

yes, that's why there's suddenly 25 new people registering in the forums when the server goes down.

The forums are OF the game; and the game is OF the forums. The topic is the same ; the acces-permissions are different.....

I was saying that in game there are more groups/people represented.

In the forums there are few real noobs and they often get muffled right away (with good reason most of the time).

I was also saying that the fact that with every game crash 25 new people register proves that even the regular players who know about theforums often don't bother to visit it.
So the forums are artificial and not representing the game.

So that's where all our money is, i've been asking others for money cause I'm broke, invading with 6-7K shields; now i see why u could afford to pay 2 mil a reshield and i had to jump 3 more hops to pay 500K.

Lol, that was a while ago actaully, my on hand moeny is a lot lower now like around 10 mil and my bank is still at 100 mil.

And maniacus, are you inferring that I can't have a lot of money just becasue I haven't been around forever?

Or something different, hard to tell.

No I'm saying that the bank needs to hold more credits, Do you have any idea how many credit I generate in a day??? I could fill my bank 10 times over in a week were it not for the cap.

Just kidding, I remember the presidential elections but I never saw those animated banners.

I can't believe you saved all that stuff. I usually clean out my pictures folder every few months, I'll dump onto a CD and it will collect dust never to be used again... lol.

Technicly it was more of your personal 2 yr starport history... There was some stuff from others there, but most of it was about yourself.
