That's some pretty hefty new information....

I think it would be mostly fine if the turrets wraped arround the corners to at least prevent sliding then it would be like taking any other colony sort-of.

Well, I thought maybe a gas nebula in the background, with a British flag in on Left and the words "Shed MK Shipping" on the right. Also, if you could put the words "Vos can't dico a libri per suus occulto" (which means "You can't tell a book by its cover." in English) at the bottom, that would be cool.

I'm not at all pleased with this design.
Please gimme some more suggestions.

Start from this design.
And anyway, everybody can make stuff like this. All you need is paint and Google.

BTW, the original is bigger, as are all the logo's. Photobucket just makes them smaller.

Update on the experiment. Hasn't been taken yet.
And I added some defences.

With 3 superconductors and 10 dexterity I would follow the red arrow to invade.

I'd take out that one turret slide up pass the 2nd wall nuke that out slide back down and reshield.

same estimated time, more nukes required.

I'm not saying I'm any good at invading but I do believe every colony is takeable.

Only this one could cost somewhat one nukes.

All 3 ways are hard and involve lot's of nukes and a few deaths.

The blue guys are corp mates there to take fire and die

Nah I'd just go to the lower left quandrant , precission nuke the bottom line and make myself a little birth-cannal there and then go at the right side turrets from the bottom and voila 100 nukes rather than 300 nukes needed!

I have invaded such a colony myself and it doesn't look too hard if you nuke the lower left, I know, but there is a prb with that.
Your nukes will fly to the nearest target, if you manage to nuke the lower left a little, the nukes will eventually fly the wrong way, and you will have to move too much to fire the missile in that direction, which will kill you at least once or twice. The only solution too this that you nuke at least one ring of lasers 360° and then attack the lower left, it's still a I love you man! considering you have to nuke the lower right too to get the nukes to fly to the defences near the dome.

I've invaded an exact copy of this colony, but it took around 300 nukes in the end, maybe if you invade it with a corp it's possible to take it with less nukes, I dunno

Oh Yeah MadAce, non of those slides are possible, you're sliding between too lasers which is impossible

and if you're idea was to nuke those exact lasers that are in the way to slide it your nuts lol, that's almost impossible to do, ALMOST though

That's why I said precision nuking.

You just have no idea, practice makes perfect. People like myself or Ace can invade double dome planets like that alone by our selves and by the way, I can nuke the lower left of a colony like that pretty accurrately if I try hard enough.

300 nukes? rofl, those "Tight Rings" Take half that, tops, if you are being wild too. Dunno how you invade but man you need to become more efficient.

Oh btw I JUST tried a layout like that it took me 200 nukes.... can you match the effeciency?

i took one on boundless with 172 nukes, and that was with a sethdar meaning i had no torpedos.
