its not over powered, or under powered, its perfectly balanced. the only real problem with the idea is the lasers / mines would be randomly placed along the orbit rather than perfectly machine spaced to the perfect density, and that can be fixed should toonces so desire.

Re: New premium items - And monthly pay options
" Akito plan sounds good, but is easily exploitable by players who want to end most of the perma, such as douchebags. All that needs to be done is to feed off token sales from new permas, and then flood tourney points into old permas, thereby ending them. " SHHHH ! sure thats a possibility, but its ...

Re: New premium items - And monthly pay options
how about this. set up a "perma end" fund and a "keep perma" fund on one permaverse at a time periodically. if the users in that perma want it to end, then they can donate tokens to the appropriate fund. if the users do not wish the perma to end, they can donate tokens to the opposite one. if either...

Re: a playlist in in our sge
just go into ur starport folder and find the current playlist. then convert your existing music into that file format and rename/replace the default starport music files. make sure to keep your old ones, because when you break the game (ie a patch comes out specifically to stop you from doing this) ...

Re: Space Ports
they should make shields a tradeable resource held in cargo holds! all ports would both buy and sell shields, depending on the amount they currently had in stock (supply and demand) in largely the way other resources work. this would add drastically to wartime strategy, open new employment oppurtuni...

1, 2, 3 all good stuff! 4. what about a standard duration rebang at blitz speed? haha! 5. termporarily topping the monthly charts in a perma isnt a big deal. 5. (again?) you can already do all of that through player interaction, so putting a system like that in place would actually be a massive nerf...

Re: [Idea] Space Features/Anomalies
i like resource nebulae, would they slowly recharge the amount of available resources in them, or run out over time and respawn randomly in a different system? flight through any kind of nebulae should be slow like a gas giant (for weapons fire as well). some sort of spatial distortions should disru...

i still think they should be able to die and respawn like aliens, and like aliens, have two kinds. making them destroyable would allow players to clear high traffic areas of them and remove this "i cant autopilot anymore" problem without complex recoding of the autopilot system (which effects npcs a...

put in a "quest chain" that allows players inside the perma to end it. any players wanting to end the perma would need to accomplish a complicated series of increasingly difficult challenges whilst any players wanting to keep the perma going attempted to stop them. ideally it would take long enough ...

the "politicians" thought up "the solutions" before there was ever even a problem. im not trying to show any facts as untrue. i did however succesfully show the ridiculous unreliability of all the scientists and studies which were used to support an untrue theory as if it were a fact. its not a bad ...

actually terrorism was redefined shortly after 9-11 to include "the use, threatened use, or planned use of force or violence". force OR violence. meaning they are two different things. two of the deffinitions for force are "a group" and "a logical argument". this means that in the united states at t...

TOONCES! drone ships to transport resources are cool as heck, but there is some potentially simpler stuff you can do right now to alleviate alot of these problems. also, its not just the refinery, but the entirety of the user interface that is burdened by these redundant "extra clicks". negative rep players CAN see how much money is in there, right before they steal all of it. if a port doesn't have any money, u have to BUY from it to fill it back up. try spamming cmines on the port and/or lasers in the surrounding areas and blaming it on whoever lives there. this will assuredly br...
