Every time we create a new character the default stats are 5 dexterity, 5 charisma and 5 wisdom. Pod is already pretty decent. The special allows you to evade pretty much anything, and it has 8 hardware slots. Beside, what's the point of rewarding players with a decent ship for getting themselves killed?
