Why not just block spec in from ppl with low rep ( -15 rep)? The people who troll it excessively get rep bombed anyway. Usually when a skip happens every player experiences it identically. Individual ping doesn't seem to matter a lot.

Announce blitz the way Muffin was doing it!

The 'Blitz game starting' message that announces on all servers really should say the number of people online and spectated in. Knowing when big games are happening helps a lot for getting people to go.

If you sell a Sethdar to a port it just disappears into the void. This also happens to nukes. They should mimic the behavior of ISCs and just be available to people with less than -1000 rep.

If a team battles hard to the end but still loses, the points lost should be less than normal and if a team lays down and quits (or just gets crushed) the loss should count slightly more. This BBQ has to stop. Volcanics and Greenhouses have basically no solar coverage, and it makes them way too easy to invade.

The effect drag has on solar (and laser) range should be cut in half at least... maybe more.

This is one of those rare ideas that sounds cool and actually would make the game more interesting. I like it.

Maybe it should be limited to systems that are close to each other on the galaxy map (but number of hops doesn't matter). Letting it have unlimited range would probably be too much.

Maybe Toonces could do random price resets. Like every 4-5 hours a few items are randomly reset to a cheap price, and they'd bounce back over a few games. I didn't know you but I played back then as well. Mua'Dib randomly pops in on the forums from time to time so he might see this lol. There are a lot of guys who played Frontier Wars during that time who are still lingering around.
