anito newbies only die over mundane situations because the learning curve of the game is too steep for them, not because they don't have the potential to go on and become good players.
so auto pilot's got me raging. the way it stops near the end of most systems makes me so mad. can that pls be fixed? there's no need for auto pilot to come to a complete standstill when gravity pulls it off of its line. in that case all it needs to do is point to the warp and go forward. srsly tho, ...

Actually, because of a property of relativity called length-contraction, the travel times at near-light speeds are much faster than this article says. However for a stationary observer where the ship took off from, indeed millions of years would pass. But for the people on the ship, when you get to...
whether or not thats true i have no idea as i havent done fair 1v1 for a long time. but i'd say thats more to do with the outstanding (compared to most other guns used in top end combat) effect of the EMP on the seth than the quality of the fusion blastergodman wrote:no.. seth and fusion > isc and grav

Actually, thats how space works. There shouldn't be a top speed. As long as thrusters are being applied the ship should acccelerate. I don't know if people realize, but space is a vacuum. Even if you disengage your engines, your ship should remain at a constant velocity because there is no friction...
