Is starport down at the moment

My apologies if this is listed somewhere.

Ive been trying all day to get online but all i get is the "looking for updates" screen and nothing more.

Is everyone getting this or can people get in ok.

Thanks for the answers

If it is all down to research these days i might just throw up some colonies with a 1000 population and let them research for a while. if the research is a dud then ill let the colonies die and start again.

I dont play anymore but i used to love this game before the solar nerf when 10/120 was a regular sight across the galaxy. It did a number of things 1. Each colony layout required different tactics to beat. 2. It encouraged group participation to take down a solar which is what companys are all about...

I could never stand naseem hamed the cockyness was just to much plus he was a pure ahole.

Chris Eubank on the other hand was far more cocky and people loved it as he was a pure showman who enjoyed playing the bad guy.

Barefoot i dont mean to be rude but what you are saying is that this is the problem but there is nothing we can do about it. When really you should be looking for solutions. Maybe if startup players were only allowed on certain servers this would be a tremendous help. and then they graduate later on...

Ok so clusters can be done and Toonces obviously has an algorith set up to generate that option. But it is a good idea. Remember that this would create an environment for newbies to learn the game. They could create there colonies inside safe areas under the watchful eyes of the vets and vet builder...

I have noticed that solar sails give you a 0.3 reduction in fuel cost but when i look at fuel it seems to be measured in single units.
